beer strainer (strainer (narcotics & intoxicants: drinking))

Beer strainer with a conical sieve made of cane, the base of which has a plaited cross pattern. There is a hole in one side of the strainer. The rim and handle are made from several pieces of wood, with the handle drawn together in the centre to form a figure of eight shape in which the distal loop is smaller. There is some damage to the handle.
