ornament (personal adornment)

Feather ornament, possibly earrings, from the Wai Wai people of South America. The ornament is made of one piece of forked plant fibre thread, with feathers of red and yellow decorating each strand. The ornament hangs from one longer, undecorated fibre. The top of the fork is decorated with pink and white beads.
