Two leaves of a footed wooden screen, joined by two hinges. Each leaf is divided into an upper and lower part, the upper containing an embroidered panel, the lower filled with veneered wood. The left hand upper panel depicts a weaver at the loom outside a thatched house with three spectators. The right hand panel has four figures of women processing silk from cocoons. Silk threads hang across a line in the background. Punched through and in need of conservation. Each leaf 590w x 1230h. [textile]
