snuff bottle

Snuff bottle of flattened circular form with straight neck and slightly recessed base. Made of porcelain, painted with overglaze enamel and gilt. The exterior is decorated on one side with a roundel depicting a male figure sitting on a mat in an interior setting and a boy standing by a square stool, encircled by a Chinese poem. The other side is inscribed with Chinese inscriptions within a roundel and surrounded a poem. Two characters reading 'Guangxu' are written in seal script with overglaze red enamel on base.
