The Aquarium will be closed all day on Wednesday 27 April, and reopen from Thursday 28 April.
Begging bowl or kamandal for mendicants, of beaten brass with a semi-circular handle connected to the top. Whole surface decorated with an engraved design of tendrils and scrolling vegetal forms against a black lac background. The body echoes a double gourd in shape, and has a pedestral base.
