The Aquarium will be closed all day on Wednesday 27 April, and reopen from Thursday 28 April.
Body adornment, pendant, made of copper alloy. The object is made in two parts, which are joined with a hinge. The top piece is a curved bar, with a loop at either end and a peacock figure above the centre. The bottom part is heart-shaped, and has a pattern in relief featuring flowers and diamond shapes, with a row of perforated loops around the outer edge. Lost wax casting, dhokra, technique.
