Near complete skeleton of a European Rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus). This specimen shows extensive pathology of the skull, with significant necrosis of the bone and possibly an infected tooth that has grown into the bone of the mandible. The mandible is cracked on the left side near the symphysis.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
