The Aquarium will be closed all day on Wednesday 27 April, and reopen from Thursday 28 April.
Mouthpiece and proximal section of a long brass trumpet, with engraved inscription (in Newari?) and boss near the distal end. The tube made of a double thickness of metal. The integral mouthpiece is a shallow cup with a narrow hole (3mm diameter approx) into the bore. Ten decorative bands encircle the tube below the mouthpiece. Made in Tibet or Nepal.
