Anglo-German system. Serial number (internal batch number) 33. Etched on right-hand chromed end: 'C Jeffries, 12 Aldershot Rd, Kilburn, NW6.' 6.63" diameter markedly domed chrome nickel, fully fretted raised metal hand bars, bevelled to edge, ebony veneered sides. 39 keys, including drone and air. Domed plated metal, bushed. Later straps, two brass screws. Six-fold thick black leather bellows, fully gilt stamped, no papers. Round-end steel reeds, rectilinear pan layout. Repairer's stamp on action board: 'WR Bate, Concertina Repaired, Duet Music Arranged, Plymouth.'
