321.331 Half-spike or tanged bowl lutes

Guinbri, spoon-shaped lute. Much elongated pear-shaped body attached to a cylindrical neck. Neck pierced to carry two pegs, terminates in a turned finial. Body covered on open side by a skin membrane attached by glue. Two gut strings attached to tongues in the sound=hole. Numerous bands of double lines on the neck. Carrying loop of red fabric. Two small sound-holes and one larger one in the membrane, two in the sides of the body. One peg and one string missing.
