321.321 Necked bowl lutes (-71)

Walking stick fiddle, kit cane violin. A stout walking stick. When the handle is unscrewed half of the cover is released revealing a violin. The bow fits into a case in the stick. Used by dancing masters. Probably late 18th century. Illustrated in Bull cat. Restrung 25.3.54 JLB.
