Double membrane barrel drum, possibly a north-west Indian dhol. The plain wooden shell painted a dark brown colour.The shell is cracked and has been mended with large staples. The skin heads indirectly braced over concealed wooden hoops, with rawhide lacing in a Y pattern (part missing) tensioned by moveable iron rings (eight remaining). The larger membrane has label printed with the figures '192'.
