Sudanese ceramic - one of three long necked vessels with handle (not polished).
This is Northern Sudanese coffee pot, similar to coffee pots used in Ethiopia and parts of Egypt. It has a completely rounded bottom to enable it to be place directly onto hot coals and to ensure an even heat through the coffee to slowly release the flavour and reduce bitterness. It was probably purchased in Khartoum.
