Circular drum and beater made by Haisla artist. Elk hide skin has been stretched over a wooden frame and tied at the reverse. The face of the drum has been painted with an image of an Orca in black, red and blue. The piece has been signed "Killer Whale" and dated 2017. The accompanying beater has been made using bound strips of yellow suede over a small tree branch.
