Rabbit's teeth grow constantly thoughout their lives. The European rabbit's fur coat helps keep it warm in cold contidions while its long ears help it hear potential predators. European rabbits are social creatures and live in burrows or warrens with about six other rabbits. They can warn other rabbits of danger by thumping their back legs on the ground.
Rabbits have strong hing legs which help them run; a rabbit can run as fast as 50 miles per hour. European rabbits have long back legs and shorter forelegs which help them move faster. They also have fur on the soles of their feet to improve grip and dampen the shock of running/hopping.
