Drum is beaten with a padded stick while held in one hand. It is used to accompany singing, chanting and dancing. While this type of drum is common in many Native American cutlures, this specific drum comes from the Pueblo nation which is predominantly based in the south west of North America, within New Mexico and Arizona.
