The Ubiquitous "Poggy"! (Edward O. Pogson.) Doyen of London's rhythm players. Saxophone lead in the Victor Sylvester Band; "Tenor Saxophone and Everything" in Kenny Baker's "Baker's Dozen", Poggy's unique collection of rare and unusual instruments is exceptional in the respect that all of them are heard from time to time in some programme or other, and Poggy himself plays them with all the skill of a master musician.
