Periodicals, magazines, published lectures and articles, and other related papers from the collection of Eric McGavin. These include reprints of articles relating to the study of musical instruments, musical instrument manufacture and musicology, catalogues from exhibitions and musical instrument manufacturers, including Rudall, Carte & Co. and Boosey & Hawkes, concert programmes from early performances by the British Youth Wind Orchestra, and copies of magazines including 'Woodwind World', 'Symphony' and 'Woodwind Magazine'. The series also contains publications which are thought to have been originally owned by D.J. Blaikley (see ARC/MCG/PB/1454-1473).

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
