The Aquarium will be closed all day on Wednesday 27 April, and reopen from Thursday 28 April.
One printed announcement that, on the wedding day of Duke of York and Princess May, the Horniman Museum was going to be open from 2 pm to 9 pm, as the event was going to be observed as a general holiday. The Museum grounds were going to be illuminated throughout the evening.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
