The Aquarium will be closed all day on Wednesday 27 April, and reopen from Thursday 28 April.
A letter sent by Frederick Horniman to Sir Richard Somers Vine, dated 30 January 1894, regarding the completion of the arch donated to the Museum by Vine. Horniman suggests that the archway could be completed by Mr Kemp of Vine's foreman could send them a panel and some column.
