Relics from the Battle of Omdurman are on display at the Banqueting room in Whitehall. The reporter is reminded of crusading imagery when looking at the objects and he praises their beauty and level of craftmanship. Objects included a jibbah worn by Dervish cavalry and standards with bullet holes used during the battle.
