Plans, printed material and transparencies relating to 'Horniman's Dream', an extension to the Horniman Museum proposed during the early 1970s. The extension was planned in association with the Greater London Council on the site of Surrey Mount and was envisioned as a partially subterranean building with four levels containing galleries, exhibition space, an aquarium and visitor facilities. Though the plans were exhibited to the public the project was not realised.
