The Horniman Museum was managed by the London County Council and its successor bodies from 1901 until 1990. Much of the Horniman's surviving administrative records for this period can be found at the London Metropolitan Archives.

These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
