Reed cutter, the blade of an implement made to be hafted onto a long wooden handle with a socket and flange hafting. The blade is shaped as a long rectangle, with saw teeth running down on side (but these are not sharpened)on the back of the blade near the base there is a hook with a sharp inner edge, presumably also a cutting edge. The base of blade is constricted and the implement terminates with a conical blade is constricted and the implement terminates with a conical socket which is produced into a long pointed tongue of metal on one side. Two perforations. Painted black.
