Parasol with wooden handle into which is set a bamboo rod, from which splint spokes radiate to support the cover, which is of pale brown silk cloth, painted on one side with a floral spray and on the other with a rural scene. The parasol is opened by means of further splints set into spokes and fixed to a disc on the rod which can be pushed up and down the rod. Outside of spokes and outer casing at the top are painted black. Silk tassels at ends of spokes. Yellow cord terminating in ring bound in yellow yarn, from which yellow bobble is suspended.
