One Balinese metallophone gangsa jongkok from either a gamelan Semar pegulingan or a gamelan pelègongan. The five bronze keys are tuned in the pélog scale: 2, 3, 5, 6, (high)1. The wooden body is carved in relief with designs of flowers and foliage that are painted in gold on a red and black ground. The top panel has holes for five bamboo resonators. The bronze keys are held in place with metal rods, and are cushioned by strips of folded rattan.
