clothing; apron

Heavy apron woven in pinkish orange wool with embroidered flecks of burgundy, black and yellow, in two panels joined vertically together with very neat stitching to form one smooth piece. Along the lower edge and extending a little way up the sides is a thick fringe of similarly coloured wool. The lower part also has applied strips of braid in gold-wrapped thread in a symmetrical design. From both sides of the top a cord formed of plaited wool in pink, burgundy and black extends, to secure at the waist.
