Flute. African blackwood (grenadilla) body with polish coating. Brass keys and ferrules. Seven keys. Keys are block mounted with saltspoon cups and fish skin pads. Blocks turned away. Two keys with pewter plugs. Conical bore. Five joints. String lapped tenons. Removable end cap with decorative finial. Inscription on upper joint is very faint but probably reads: POWELL/CIRENCESTER
