White, diaphanous, tabby-woven cotton dress decorated with a multicoloured woven border. The garment has a fitted bodice, narrow sleeves, and a wide, gathered skirt. The round neckline and the waist have been accented with red machine, zigzag stitching. A short zip has been fitted into the left side seam of the bodice. The dress is lined with a white synthetic textile. The lining ends in a 2-tiered hem. The woven border is framed by white, synthetic rickrack. It is decorated with a wider patterned centre and narrow borders separated by a white ground. The patterned areas have a dotted orange and green ground, framed with thin green borders. The middle of the centre one has additional lozenges in orange, white, red, yellow, pink and blue. Each of these surround a green centre, and are in turn framed by green chevrons.
