Kaa antelope mask. Carved wooden mask in form of antelope with two long horns and 2 shorter ones (one of which is broken off), with geometric painted decoration in white, black, pink, red, blue and green. The letters L.I.M and A. are painted on the horns. There is string netting behind the head section; it has eyeholes, and small holes in each side. A nail has been driven into the top of the head section.

Antelope mask – in Bamana society, the ciwara (antelope mask) is an agricultural mask. I’m not sure whether this is the same for Dogon speaking people.
