The Aquarium will be closed all day on Wednesday 27 April, and reopen from Thursday 28 April.
Plains feather headdress, probably of Sioux manufacture. Bonnet of dark grey and white feathers tipped with strands of horse hair. The buckskin bonnet has a beaded band across the forehead section, and two green panels hanging either side. There is slight damage to the area around the woven panels, and some beads missing.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
