Rectangular, tapestry-woven rug. The textile has a cream centre panel decorated with geometric bands surrounded by a red border. The warp has been left to form the fringing at both shorter sides. At one of these the threads have been plied and knotted. The bands consist of solidly coloured narrow bands in red, orange, pink, and black (mostly faded to grey), interspersed with wider bands containing geometric patterns.
