Cream-coloured silk Maltese lace strip worked in 2 sections which are stitched together. One section of the textile consists of a band of densely worked of 6 petalled motifs between more open borders. The neighbouring motifs share the petal between them. The other section consists of circular motifs with either a floral motif or a Maltese cross at the centre. This band finishes in a scalloped edge with picot detailing.
