Trumpet - distal section with flared bell. Copper with soldered seam and two brass rings. A band of iron approx. 15mm wide is attached to the edge of the bell with copper nails. The proximal section of the trumpet with the integral mouthpiece is Horniman Museum number: 1976.379. The over all length of the trumpet when assembled is 1040mm. approx.
