Fiddle carved from a single piece of wood, the back with a pronounced 'spine'. Waisted body, with heart-shaped open upper cavity. Skin membrane attached by pegs over lower section of the body. Square peg-box carrying a single peg with a spirally fluted finial. Piece of thick wire serves as nut. String of gut attached to basal projection. Zigzag decoration on side of body.
