A long, rectangular coarse wool textile. It has warp dominant black stripes, alternating with a narrower orange stripe, which is flanked by wider pink stripes. The warp ends are uncut and have twisted back on themselves. (A continuous warp was used for weaving.) There is orange and pink weft twining at each end and two separate rows of black and white weft twining nearby. The ends of the twining are dyed orange, seemingly dip dyed afterwards. Both orange and pink dyes appear to be artificial dyes.
