The Aquarium will be closed all day on Wednesday 27 April, and reopen from Thursday 28 April.
Container from the Wai Wai people of Guyana, made from inverted breast of baby harpy eagle. The container is tied at both ends with vegetable fibre leaving two short bunches at either end of a oval shaped central section. There is a small slit at the top of the container for access.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
