Roughly rectangular tabby woven cream cotton textile showing a stage of manufacture in tie-dyeing, bandhani. The diaphanous textile has been folded twice and a lattice pattern with a centre mark consisting of small dots have been tied catching all four layers. Most dots have been dyed with purple at the centre and around the outside of each tie. 9 of the centre ties are connected with a thicker multicoloured strand of cotton, and the centre and the outside of the tie coloured either green or pink.
