Smock. Cut out from four straight pieces of material, with sleeve starting from the collar. Smock open in front. Long sleeve with puckered flounce at wrist. Black geometrical embroidery round the neck. Around the neck and at the wrist, special puckers held together by a special stitch used to fix the puckers. Simplified floral designs round the edge of the flounce. An oblong portion on the sleeve is covered with compact embroidery. Rhombs, embroidered in white and gold thread, in a variety of stitches, succeed each other uniformly. Geometrical designs, finely embroidered around the neck and on the sleeve, is characteristic of this district. Length: 57 cm (back); 85 cm (sleeve).
