Circular ceramic pot for hair oil, with a painted floral design on the shoulder. The design is divided into four large petal shapes, outlined in black on a natural ground. On each is a smaller floral design in red, with green leaves based on the camellia (tsuba-ki) flower. Hair oil is made from this flower. There are smaller blue petal tips between the four large petals, and a red border completing the shoulder decoration. The lower part of the pot is made of natural clay, with a clear glaze. If there was a stopper, it is missing.
