Flute in D, boxwood, ivory mounts. Six silver keys, flat, square, mounted in turned blocks and rings, including foot keys. The cover-plate of the C sharp key is of German silver and probably a later substitute. Metal lined head joint, movable cork stopper. The upper half of the block of the F natural key has been inserted. Block of C sharp key has been glued. Head and socket both cracked throughout length. Sounding length (embouchure to foot) is 59.4 cm. Stamped: Whitaker London (Crown mark).
