The Aquarium will be closed all day on Wednesday 27 April, and reopen from Thursday 28 April.
A pipe stem of curved and bored wood, which has been reduced in diameter to take the bowl (missing) at the other end. Fitted to one end is a thin, bamboo tube wrapped with string, over which fits a silver mouth piece (broken). This is decorated with bands of silver and lines of spirals with central bosses.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database. Some of this is incomplete and there may be errors. This part of the website is also still under construction, so there may be some fields repeated or incorrectly formatted information.
